Presentation Round

The presentation round reportedly commenced at around 9:40 AM. The assessor was reported to be a female assessor, and the candidate was asked two questions based on the presentation.

Group Discussion

Topic: Is failure necessary for success?

Interview

The interview reportedly lasted around 2–3 minutes. Immediately afterwards, the candidate’s screen showed that the session had been completed.

1. Group Discussion

Topic: Is remote work better than physical work?

  • Each student was reportedly given around 30 seconds to initially express an opinion for or against the topic.
  • After around 1.5 minutes, the assessor asked the group to begin the discussion.
  • At the end, a follow-up question was asked.

Follow-up: Is remote work better for fresh graduates?

Students reportedly answered the follow-up one by one.

2. Presentation

Topic: The role of technology in professional life.

Reported timing: 5 minutes for presentation + 3 minutes for questions.

  1. Will technology automate financial reporting and business decisions?
  2. If a CA uses an AI tool to detect fraud and the tool does not detect the fraud, who will be responsible — the CA, the organization, or the tool?
  3. Which technological skills do you think are necessary for a CA in the future?

3. Interview

  1. Briefly introduce yourself.
  2. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
  3. How would you respond if someone gave you constructive feedback?
  4. How did you handle a failure?
  5. If your seniors disagreed with your opinion, how would you respond?
  6. If your manager asked you to do something unethical, what would you do?

One candidate reported asking the assessor to explain the meaning of constructive feedback, after which the assessor explained it and repeated the question.
